I'm sick in bed with some awful virus I caught while traveling last weekend.. BUT on the bright side of things, I have finally had some time to get caught up on the good old to do list. One of them was uploading the other set from my Flour and Salt Bakery session (way back in August) aaand I finally did it!
First off, Happy Thanksgiving! This is my favorite holiday because, well, the food.. but also because it's the one day where we all remember to stop and think about what we are grateful for. I try and do this on a daily basis but of course forget to sometimes or get busy or whatever..
I just want to say that I am so grateful to all of you for supporting me on this journey, truly. I was thrown into the world of performing and didn't really know what I was doing but I am slowly figuring it out and am starting to learn my true sound. More on that soon.
After the summer tour, I went under a rock for awhile. I got the flu and was sick for about three weeks (my body needed rest desperately), moved into my very own place for the first time ever, turned off all social media except IG and really just attempted to go deep for awhile. At some point in my 20s, I realized that I am not the true extrovert I once thought I was. For as much time as I spend with people, I need time to stay at home and read, write, cook, do yoga, meditate or whatever. That's what the next few months is about. Recharging.
Also in this 'hiatus', I've done some serious traveling - I just got home from Mexico, San Diego, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, New Orleans, and NYC. I somehow did that all in one month while working full-time the entire trip. I'm exhausted but rejuvenated at the same time.. My job is in its busiest time of year hence the break from touring but don't worry, I'll be back.
In the meantime, I just announced a few shows that I'll be playing this month (check out the Tour Dates tab) and have also updated the rest of my website with a couple new songs and what not, so click around! Also check the link below to listen to an interview I did with the amaazing Chris Wienk over at Exit 97.7 WEXT !
For those of you who didn't see my posts on Instagram or Facebook, well, first .. follow those things:
But secondly, Tumbleweed is officially OUT on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc. etc. Please listen, buy, share, review - it is greatly appreciated!

Thank you all SO much for your support... I couldn't do this without you. It is an incredible feeling to finally have some concrete work out there in the world that will live on.. I hope you enjoy this short but sweet collection of country rock tunes I wrote some years back in California!
Here's where I'll be through September. Stay tuned on Instagram: alyssarose_music
Last night's show was an absolute blast! Jesse Taylor kicked off the night with her angelic melodies and The Leatherbound Books closed it out with their groovy, California'esque vibe.
Thanks to all who came out and supported local music as well as the wonderful community vibe that the hub is working to create in Essex.
Live feed from my set is available here (make sure to like my FB page and subscribe for updates) : https://www.facebook.com/alyssa.rose.music/

Yep, that's right! The second to final step of this whole EP release process is now finalized. Next and final step: send 'em to print. I'll have pre-sale copies available at all shows from 7/23 - 8/7 and the EP will officially be released 8/8. Stay tuned!
